At the Autistic Women's Club, we strive to create a welcoming environment for autistic women and non-binary individuals. Our mission is to empower members to share their stories and experiences without fear of judgment, while also participating in various autism community events that foster connection and support for autistic women.

We are Becs (right) and Mimi (left), and we founded The Autistic Women's Club in May 2024 to create a supportive environment for autistic women, something we had both been searching for. Our goal was to establish a space where we could embrace our wonderful autistic selves without fear of judgment or discrimination. We take immense pride in what the club has become and are excited to see it grow through various autism community events!
Saturday 11th July, 1-3pm, Flower Crafts @ Safe Haven Arts & Coffee, Landsdowne Road, BH1 1AQ
To book your space for these events, please click on the 'Monthly Meetings' tab or follow our Eventbrite page via the link below. We ask for a suggested donation of £3 to attend.

It’s nice to see and meet other people at autism community events who have experienced similar things to myself, where I’m not looked at and judged, especially in spaces like the autistic women's club that provides essential support for autistic women.
It's so nice to meet other female autistic adults like me at autism community events, where we can connect through the autistic women's club and find support for autistic women.
I've only been once! But I really enjoyed the comfort of talking to fellow autistic people at an autism community event, especially with crafts to keep my hands occupied. It was great to connect with members of the autistic women's club and find support for autistic women in such a welcoming space.
Everyone is friendly and open-minded, and at the autism community events, activities are no pressure, creating a relaxed atmosphere for all, including members of the autistic women's club who seek support for autistic women.
I've made some good friends through autism community events, and I always feel supported, especially as part of the autistic women's club that offers invaluable support for autistic women.
I enjoy being around other people that get it, especially at autism community events, where I can unmask a bit more. Being part of an autistic women's club also provides great support for autistic women like me.

We are fortunate enough to have been awarded a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund. This fantastic opportunity means that we are able to continue providing vital support for autistic women and non-binary folk in Dorset.
